oh no she will get them back. they are not disimilar to ones I bought last year, as red carpet, some of which were all red and others were like these. I am hoping the 20 i planted come through the winter as they are in the soil.

My first and last foray was buying several pots of Enchantment which were promptly decimated by lilybeetle. That was before I realised they were not ladybirds! Havent planted any since until this year..when I planted 3 martagon lilies..must remember to get some Provado or whatever its called! After seeing all these lovely lilies on here I am giving them another go.

had very few lily beetles I think 4 in total. the red carpet lilies are spread out along the border so the overall effect isnt of a carpet really. just a splodge of colour here and there.

Aren't they a gorgeous colour! I looked for some like this for my hot border this summer, but with no success. I was so pleased when Sbg took me to her plantman and we found these. :-))

You've been lucky with only 4 red perils, Sbg. I've had a lot. Nasty things! Grrrr...
