It's like the Mediterranean down here in NW Greater London. The plants must like it too because many of them are still flowering away. (Photo taken today - sorry about the blurred image - it was windy!)
5 mins. later - I've forgotten to turn the picture round - sorry! Ah well, hopefully you get the gist of what I was trying to illustrate despite this 'faux pas'. As an 'exile' who's become a Londoner, I often wonder how some of you hardy people living north of Watford manage to garden at all given your climate - we could use some of yyour water though!

I actually DID water mine on Sunday and the gardener still complained this Monday how hard the soil was in certain parts! It's been that dry around here that I'm still watering my pots every few days.

I know what you mean by the water Bodger. Although I am enjoying the mild weather, I am thinking I might need to water my garden this weekend - everything is very dry.
