We have to thank /not thank King Charles II who introduced these birds in 1600 for target practice.

They do fly but they tend to run like the clappers especially
when they have their young with them. The young just freeze and the parents try to get you to follow them

Are they normally this 'heavy'? Looks like he'd have trouble taking off (or do they not fly)
