Jalapeño Ixtapa

A hybridized jumbo fruiting Jalapeno variety named after the state of Ixtapa in Mexico where these chiles are grown. The corkiness(netting pattern) on jalapenos is desired in Mexico but not in the U.S. I sent this entry to "thechileman Jalapeno Ixtapa" where it now appears. Origin: Mexico. Scoville units: 4000-6000
