Trinidad Scorpion

This variety is reputed to be a very scary pepper!!! The plants are tall, upright and reasonably productive bearing 2 to 3in long pendant pods which taper to a sharp pointed 'stinger'. In terms of pungency, the pods of this rare and much sort after variety are outrageously hot and one of only a handful of varieties which can claim to rival the Naga Morich. To date this is the hottest pepper I've grown and no, I do not taste them. I give them to the 'crazies'. Origin: Trinidad. Scoville units: 800,000-900,000.
