That is so cute. We don't have squirrels here in NZ .... we have furry possums with huge round eyes, but they are considered to be a pest & they can be very destructive. When we visited my sons in Michigan in AprilMay this year, we were delighted to see black squirrels scampering into the garden, with some red squirrels coming in too. I didn't even know there were black squirrels, but they were gorgeous. Sadly, the moved so quickly, I didn't manage to get a photo of them.

Hi Dwyllis Thank You. Wow - I visited a friend who I hadn't seen in 30 years in Canada - Nov 2009. A fantastic trip and we saw a Black Squirrel I was amazed. Tried to get a photo but we were on a one way highway, and even though I INSISTED that we back up it wasn't to be ;O) I got a rather fuzzy photo but so wanted a good one to show everyone! Would love to see a furry Possum. Maybe if I get to visit my cousin who lives in NZ
