About the only thing with any real colour in the yard now, but they are fading fast. These shots are about a week old, sigh...

We got our first dusting of snow today! Nov 17. Took pics of it coming down like a lace curtain. The only 'Mums that I had ended with a very early hard frost! sad. they will be wintering in the basement... hope they make it.

Had our first hard frost last night Lori - my birdbaths are all frozen this morning; have to thaw them when I top up the feeders, if the sun doesn't do it first. Had a 'sprinkle' of snow last week but it melted as it touched the ground, and the temp hit 60* the next couple of days. This is the mildest November we've had since I have lived here - I even have some of the summer sparrows that haven't migrated yet!!
