Kumquat new shoots

Kumquat new shoots, Thought I had placed this in garden too early, got caught not just by late frost but snow as well.... Pic taken 30/03/08. Trimmed it a few days ago and lo and behold new shoots...woo hoo
So far only used them in cold drinks... Pimms and lemonade is nice with ice n kumquats
:-)
Btw new shoots are doing great, will post progress pic soon
