no, not sure which year my grandfather was born but he died in 1932, it was my father who was born in 1922

OK. Sorry, I did not notice well that you are speaking about Daddy. As far as my grandparents used to say, those first decades were hard, but very charming for them. They both were quite succesful although there was economic crisis. My grandmother did refuse to merry my grandfather, she was quite emancipated at that time, but finally she married him and loved him all her life. She was also Katarina. We have a very old Bible, made in leather, and there is evident, that my grandmother´s family line preferred three names: Katarina, Marina/Maria and Ann.
