Katarina - I think if you'll sow the seeds in spring it won't be to late. Have never grown it so not big expert on propagation of that particular one...

I was working this weekend, never have a chance to see sunsets at work as the shop building is blocking the view:( I can just see different colours of the clouds, highlighted by the sun. Getting home when the sun is already gone:(

Hi Bloomer - the common name for it is Sea holly:) Silver Ghost is a variety of Eryngium giganteum. And please - don't delete or edit funny comments, lol.
