laurel grows very well here ~ a bit too well!!

I have the plain ones too, they go mad but this is well behaved.

Tis nice. I have Golden King. I don't think I've ever seen one with berries on except in a catalogue. I think we tend to get less fruit on many shrubs up here because we don't have the length of season or warmth for them to grow and ripen...just guessing really, in fact, I'll just stop now and go to bed! :))
