I used a strong grade polythene to line the beds (seems to have worked in my planter).
I burnt holes in it for drainage as this seems the best way to stop any further ripping.

They are going to look fantastic when planted up, have you decided what to plant into them yet? Cram the plants in, a mixture of evergreen, perrenials, leaf textures/colour look great, annuals of course, The skys the limit :)
