Wow Treetop....we have had loads of Redwings in our trees today, they are very similar aren't they....

they are milky, i have muddled them up before now, but its redwings that have visited here, havent had fieldfares i dont think?

I'm not an expert guys/girs but I looked them up in my bird book. they certainly look like Fieldfares to me. But I could be wrong, all the evidence though ie flying in flocks, sitting in trees, facing the wind, etc points to them being Fieldfares.

This one certainly doesnt have the red on their sides like the ones in our garden today.....but they do look similar sized...

I have never seen either of these,except on here..not in my garden,for sure..but both lovely birds .Thanks for the info..you never know..one of these days I might be lucky..:o)
