Something happened today that is puzzling me , we went to a local market town it happened to be market day , we walked back through the market when I spotted several picture blocks in cardboard box I picked one up , there were several small drawings by B.Potter I went through the others they were all drawings and pictures numbered with explanations of what they were , one of the letters said that B.Potter had asked Noel Moore if she could borrow them back , she had decided to make a little book of the story .. I asked the boy on the stall where he had got them from he said they were clearing an old house out on the coast and that one of the rooms was full of these they were all over the walls .. I picked a couple out with 4 pics and letters on each block he let me have them for .50p each , they will look really nice when I take them out of the blocks and put them in a frame , I can't make it out ,

Interesting, Amy. Take care for them. You found them because they need not to be lost. put them in frames.

They are lovely drawings Kat , I'm sure they can't be genuine or they wouldn't have been overlooked like that but they do look it and will look very nice in frames ..

Amy any idea if they are in any way original works they would be worth thousands of pounds,even if they were copys with signitures they would be valuable.can you take photos of them I would love to see them,be careful about taking them out of there blocks?could devalue them what are the blocks.

Yes, Amy, make some photo, please :) We would like to see them. What strange accidents happen. One day I will tell you about how I found paintings of one famous painter who was imprisoned in jail during communism. Also very strange.

I will try to take reasonable photos today they are on blocks of perspex see through stuff protecting them ,it might course some shine back ,I'll see what I can do ...
