They can barely be seen in the photo, but if you look to the right you can make out some baby lady ferns. This the 3rd year for them and they're finally beginning to spread.

thanks Paul, they're looking better all the time! I plan to be a diligent waterer this year.

the problem is we have drought conditions every summer. And often we have watering restrictions so if you want to water you have to sneak out in the middle of the night and do it. Of course, if you work for our corrupt county government you can leave sprinklers on your grass lawn day in and day out and nothing will be said. Everyone else gets fined. Anyway, I am lazy and tend not to water enough so the ferns, especially the cinnamon ferns and the sensitive ferns, really suffer. But since I'm now unemployed I'll have time. Well, actually, I go to a job every day but I just don't get paid for it.... I work for Sean & his rare coin business is growing so he hopes to have a paid job for me soon, then I can buy more plants!

Yes I don't care if we get ban - I'll still water garden , I bet damn well the super rich do - so will I :D Nice you can get some plants - not nice being out of work - I worked for an agency for years - and it technically states you as unemployed on CV !!!
