well this one looks like it would stop a nosy cat! i have trouble with houseplants because of the cats and dogs, so I've decided to stick with cacti. I had a beautiful, tall spiky Euphorbia & they left it alone for quite a while. I then came home after Christmas dinner and it had mysteriously been sliced in half. No idea how they did it. The lower half is now struggling to survive in my kitchen.

We have two giant rabbits that live between the shed the lawn and the sofa ......but they still try to eat the cacti :-( half ate my ferocactus !

I'm surprised that rabbits would attempt to eat cacti, but then again my dog will eat dewberries right off the canes and the thorns are so sharp and numerous that they must be hurting him.

They eat anything ....rabbits are just so curious !
