How lovely. You know, I can really see how much you love your garden...and it's paying off!

Thank you very much :) Its my favourite place in the world. My mood is totally lifted just by spending a few hours working in the garden. I guess that goes for all of us though doesn't it!

Well, not necessarily, but it certainly does it for me! There is something so 'basic' about growing stuff....it gets me 'grounded' and I must admit, I can be quite destructive sometimes with the secateurs, when I'm in a dark place, but the plants don't seem to mind! I recently read an article by AT in which he said that a visitor to his garden had remarked that she loved gardening because it made her forget all about the 'realities' of life...lol...I wish I could find the quote as I'm sure I'm not doing AT justice here...but he replied that of course Gardening 'is' the reality of life! I loved that....it is true for me that's for sure. Birth, growth, maturity, fruitition, and death, disease, destructive weather, plague and pestilence.... joy, sorrow, disappointment, frustration, anger even..all of life is in the garden! :))
