Although I originally said 16 days, this should have been 9 days. They actually lasted another 4 days so were 13 days old when I disgarded them.

Sorry, this picture was taken this morning when the roses were 9 days old, not 16 days. Senior moment!
Yes, Drc726 as you see here. I would normally have discarded them a couple of days ago when they were all hanging over the vase. So grateful for all the suggestions.
