Ducks on the move.

It's a lovely site to see. I live on a very busy 'A' road but near lakes, one year a duck walked up from one of the long back gardens with her chicks, she made them rest under the hedge and flew off, after what seemed a very long time she came back and proceeded to march them in a line across the busy road, amazingly she managed it!.

We live in a village and there are many ducks and ducklings, one year I remember a mother duck walking her babies along the kerb she managed to walk across a drain but of course her babies being so much smaller fell in, there was of course a rescue attempt for her babies some were saved some didn`t make it, mum seemed totally unfased by this dramatic turn of events and just walked off.

What a shame poor little ducklings, glad some survived :-)
