Thank you, Mark. I just read what happened to your peach tree. What a pity. Peaches are the best fruits I know and it is wonderful if a man can pick them from his own tree. Unfortunately, peach trees are suffering from this disease quite often. I had a young tree from Hungary, very good sort, it got it just in the first year. I used chemicals for two years but finally it died.
What can we do? At least we know, how much work is behind each fruit we can buy in shop :)

I agree,it is a shame the tree was covered quite a lot so i have chopped it right back so it can work on helping itself rather than producing new leaves.So fingers crossed hopefully it will become well again.No crop this year though:))))
