mathiola fruticulosa

Matthioli was famous Czech herbalist. I wonder if the name of this plant is coincidence....Is it used as herbal remedy, too?

It has also delicate pink colour.

I have a pale yellow on at home.
they are in the wild and make them from seeds.

I see. Is this protected herb? Or endangered?

I think is not in danger.

Lovely flower. Very pretty shade of pink, not often seen.
