Border plants on the North

I planted layers of plants in this border under my kitchen window. The Gardenia next to the house with the Azalea in front will get the early morning sun they need, while the Lemon Queen shrub will get sun nearly all day. When grown more they should provide a nice show for folks entering my front gate, which is bordered by a yellow rose that will eventually cover an arbor that I plan to build.
