There are 3 Hawthorn trees along this road and at the moment they are at their very best mixed with cow parsley and the occasional bluebell.

You could do what the old lady who owned our house before us did...she lay down in front of the roadmen who came to tarmac the lane. And, luckily (because it would have been really ugly), she succeeded!!!
