We have some Goldfinches nesting high up in the fir tree at the back of our shed and see them about the garden all day every day...the fledglings are in our neighbours tree and Mrs Goldfinch is now feeding them...beautiful to see. The fledgling seemed to be fawn/brown with signature black/white stripe on the side..no sign of yellow or red feathers yet...we feel lucky to have them in our garden :)) A real joy to watch!
