Chokecherry, the Hill

Here is that pruned tree, blooming it brains out in the start of what is turning into a steady spring rain, rare for the last few years. We may stay free from fires this year, a gentle spring with plenty of water. This hilltop is open and south facing, blooming very early for town area.

It's looking fantastic covered in blooms. It must be loving the rare spring rain. Here's hoping the rain does indeed keep the wildfires at bay.
