Midnight Rainbow

Around midnight when the sunset is getting deeply orange and pink, the rains caught the light just right for a midnight rainbow. This is just outside my door, over the garden. The big spruce along the right side stand over the garden. It was too big to put in one shot, the whole rainbow spread across the south sky, the north side glowing with a plume of pink. Only in the Arctic.

I took most with my other camera. One side of the sky was just erupting in orange, and then where the sun peaked through from the northern horizon, this rainbow hung in the dark clouds. I do stop myself if I haven't changed the shot, but a little change is a lot, and the light was moving too......
Moments like this happen only in the poles, where this could go all night as the sun circles around.
