one pink didnt make it through the winter well at all, i submerged some healty looking bits and composted rest, just poked them into the soil, 3 have taken - rather chuffed at my propogation skills hehehe

I'm going to move these round to the border I am creating in the back garden that used to be raised beds made from thin fence panel timber, there's already loads of grit and shake in some parts if that, so one area going to be a kind of rockery :) am rather chuffed at my proPagation, makes up for some of my other boo boos hehe x

So you should be its not that easy. I take cuttings but lose quite a few over winter.

Looking good, Dianthus (pinks) are poor soil plants so should be ok if watered. You might want to add grit at some stage to help with drainage?
