lovely rose Kat., i met her once in windsor park on the polo fields they were doing some opening ceremony there or some thing, i was laying turf by the pavillion and she came over for a few minutes and spoke to us...

She was nice person. I think her family has common roots with Churchill, don´t they?

Lol Kat :-)) yes met most of them in the park, some in frogmore gardens, but mostly in windsor park either the prop dept, or at the polo fields...

my mum met the queen, long ago, in sandringham park, before the days of tight security i think!!

that's a nice memory for her Sticki, i had a mug presented to me by her in 1977 for her silver Jubilee, we all did at our school at windsor park york club grounds...

The photo under which you just discussed was devoted to a woman who was married in 1981 and killed in 1997. On the 1st July she would have been 51.

yes that's right Kat, it was a tragedy what happened she was a lovely person.
