These gorgeous flowers popped up in my garden that were planted by the previous owner. I have never seen such a flower as this and would just love to know what it is!!!

Yes I agree Hywel and it looks very like my Aquilegia Mckana hybrid quite tall and so pretty.

It's Aquilegia. It will seed itself about the place for you. My garden is full of them. They come in many shades. It is also called 'Grany's Bonnet' lol
