I wonder if it is 'Elsa Spath'? It is free-flowering, producing mid-blue blooms with deep red anthers over a long period from late spring to early autumn.

I'm clueless on this one. It doesn't look like my Elsa Spath at all, but they are variable depending on the temp etc. so I'm not saying it's 'not' that one. I'll go and have a look at the Hull website and see what they have to this description.....hang on.....Hmmm...might it be The President? I used to have that one in my old garden come to think of it, and it did have huge flowers, but I don't recall them being quite this blue...still, it might be.

oooooooooooooo I just google imaged The President and elsa spath and I think it's elsa spath because of the red middle. Thanks friends you little gardening genius's you!!!! My dad was after one so will be pleased. x

I have the president and it is not blue KS its violet to dark purple and flowers in early summer

Yes, that's how I remember the colour Drc, but my Elsa Spath looks nothing like this!
