Seed set in 2011, overwintered in greenhouse and now has first aerial leaf.

It is a Trace Heating Element, often used by Plumbers to stop pipes from freezing. It emits about 8w/m, and the 2m around this pot keeps the water at about 24-28 C. I may switch it off if it ever gets hot here !
