Protecting the bird feeder

Yesterday a carrion crow who usually comes to dip bread in my big bird bath that he gets from other gardens ( I dont put bread out ) then he decided to take the nut feeder dropped it 3 times on grass I put it back ,then 4th time he flew off with it !!! replaced it today OH found a cover for it crow quite upset lol

It didnt work no other birds used the feeder they must have thought it was a trap lol OH now found another hook to hold it on the pole birds now returning .
