This my very last attempt at growing an Alstroemeria. I just don't succeed with them. This one has variegated leaves.

Love the Alstro's grow quite a few now, looking for Princess Angela!! she is a pale yellow, have not got a yellow one.

What's your secret, then? Louise manages to get them going so well she says they're almost like thugs! Mine just fizzle out...I do suspect snails, though. :-((

I have some that are thugs and others more difficult, just bought another orange, bought it from Morries £6.00!! they are in ordinary soil, which we mulch in the winter to protect them they are much later flowering this year.....

Hmmm...could it have been the cold/wet in the winter, then? It just seems such a shame (and a waste of money) that I can't keep them.
