Special Celebration

Last year this was a new one to my garden, I was very disappointed that it was supposed to have a strong perfume and did not have any to speak of. This year it is so strong the perfume - really strange, do roses have this ability to be perfumed as they mature.

It is lovely Barbara, can't answer your question though, but better late than never eh! :))) I tell you what, I have been waiting for the concrete floor in the kitchen to dry thoroughly for at least 3 weeks now, the builders are coming back to put tiles down, once I have paid for the kitchen floor and Brandon's bedroom floor, all my money will be mine, I can't wait to get out there and do some rose shopping, I have a long list, first on it is 'Souvenir du Docteur Jamain' rose, Paul's Himalayan Musk Rose etc

Hmm...I don't know....well, just thinking...most old ladies smell of soap, I don't smell of soap.....so perhaps that's the way of it with roses? ;)
