I find this a frustrating plant. Instead of clumping up, it throws out stems with the orange flowers at the ends. Has anyone found an effective way of using it in the garden?

No Shirley it didn't last long, but I think the position was not well enough drained for its liking. I would be interested to know how it gets on in your gravel garden.

Thanks for replying Andrew ... the front garden is South facing ... I shall add lots of grit before planting them!

Andrew, I have just purchased 3 of these and am planning to plant them in the front gravel garden. Did you have any joy with yours?
