um, thinking, still got the song on [eva cassidy] cos i like it;
stevie's picture has more red in it suggesting autumn, however in my mind autumn leaves need to be falling or about to fall and both yours and stevies are very healthy new growth??

I have tree called carpinus betulus alike this - love the leaves - remind me of real MCcoy crisps and I am a fan of Eva Cassidy too

Sticki, I am a weak character. I googled carpinus betulus and I must agree with Paul, that this is more European hornbeam then beech. Actually this was trimmed fence and horbeam is used as a green fence.
So, thank you Paul for update. And Eva Cassidy was discovered by British, not by Hollywood, I know, :))
