Thankyou ;) i had 2 but the other one rotted away because i put it in my border which has good drainage but not good enough when take into account the wet weather we've been having, This one is in what i call my gravel garden which is as you can guess is at least 50/50 gravel/soil, I remember seeing a gardeners world edition when they were planting these very same plants in gravel but unfortunantly i was too late to save my other one......so far as to say my gravel garden has got bigger every year.

Thanks Windy, I have a scree garden and it sounds as if it would suit them. I might try again.

Wow thats a beauty. I planted these they came up and the leaves went brown, planted some more same thing. never any blooms. I think it must be my clay soil?
