thanks sticki,the stones are a bit filthy but for naff all they aint bad ,they used to be round a garden pond ,id like to eventually get some creeping thyme growing in the cracks........

agh didnt know it was scented ,wow,ive been growing the thyme all blooming year ,nowhere near flowering yet ,it started out as dust litterally ,its in the garden now but im told once it takes it spreads so you can chop and divide it so to speak

maybe more aromatic than scented?

i didnt used to like lavender but its growing on me!!!

there are lavender fields about 45 minutes car journey from here, they look lovely

im tryna grow a bit more from cuttings and seed,not sure how succesful Il be though

good luck, my previous neighbour grew a whole border using cuttings of lavender

wow what a great way to save money,the seed method looks like a slow process tbh so Im hoping my few cuttings will take.............

thank you ,its good fun watching em grow,I transferred my lupins from plazzy seed trays to bio degradable pots,i was worried as Im reading lupin seedlings hate being disturbed with em having a long taproot ,I think Ive got away with it though as they seem to be doing ok this last week

thats good!! i rather suspect the slugs have eaten my lupins!!

oh dear ive had slug trouble too ,they nearly destroyed me sunflowers ,still got 5 that have managed to pull through and are looking strong

thats not so bad! i like sunflowers, never grown them here ~ lack of sun!!!

havent grown them before mesen hahaha

did you get sun today? we had some this afternoon.

it was cloudy here in hull,bit cooler aswell ,no rain though,ihear theres going to be more rain aswell,arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

and with it even more slugs and snails no doubt :-((

oh yeah and some more cat poop right next to the jeyes fluid,its not the cat I thought it was neither,back to the drawing board lol

I cant win,orange peel and I think they have some gel repellent at aldi,il see if they have any left ,it wont like sommat i put ,trial and error really ,mothballs are reckoned to work aswell.......

none have visited hull for a bit...you see the odd grizzly bear on street corners but thats about it lol
