Thing is i, dont grow Delps Sanbaz...lol....I got a great basal cutting from the lovely Geranium 'black beauty' too...Its also doing well....I think the thing is to get as near the root stock as possible (lots of hormone down there)...:>)

lol i have both so need to try something, lost all my lupins and Delphs with rain and slugs this year, not normally troubled with them so my frogs arent working hard enough haha

Sure the slugs and snails would be lovin the heavy rain...poor frogs can't keep up...:>)
