Early spring, I pulled out the compass garden and rearranged into this pentagonal box and the square on behind. The weed barrier beneath kept them too shallow for the perennials so the new boxes are free to the ground. I've collected some new thing, (all before I knew I was moving), Lewisia, Cotoneaster, Dicentra, Acteae, and Papaver. Oh, and Valeriana. THe little juniper moved to the neighbors. :-)

I think so. They will have huge root balls this time of year, but I think they'll go in bags, as it is a short distance move, and straight back into the ground. :-) You can't see the soil in this bed now as they have gotten so big. Its going to be a task.
