That pink lily

It's a waiting game isn't it - waiting for them to open!

I'm still waiting for some more to open in the back garden........

Me too Tommy. All the orange ones are out but the pink scented ones are still firmly closed!!

Mine are the white ones I've had for a while. That pink coloured lily is the one that flowered very late last season and I cut the stems early and over wintered in a pot until the start of early summer then transferred back into the rockery. I have removed the stamens from the blooms. Don't want to wipe out next door's cats.

The ones I'm waiting for are highly scented (I think they're pink with white). They were so gorgeous last year that I dug 'em up, wrapped them in newspaper and kept them in the shed overwinter. In the past, I've never had lilies come back so thought I'd try and keep these ones, and it worked!!! (well if they ever flower that is!)
