This highly ornamental Pequin type variety produces purple pods which grow in upright in clusters on the plant. The pods ripen to red approximately 85-95 days after transplanting. This beautiful plant has dark purple stems, purple/green variegated leaves and produce stunning purple flowers.
History: This accession was donated by the Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center 1999. It was received as a Capsicum frutescens and re-identified as a Capsicum annuum 2011.
