We also have frost a few times during the winter. Uruguay is slight further south than Rio Grande do Sul, our state :)

That's interesting. I always think of those countries as being warm all the time. Shows how much I know lol

Hi Hywel,
Traveling around as I've been done the last 20 years taught me that most of people tends to assume things about the other countries... in a good way... is like thinking that you would be welcomed by kangoroos in Australia or lions in Africa.
The best angle of this situation is how we get surprised and pleased to find the same flowers we grow in our gardners blooming ... thousand miles away in other country . :)

Hi Bik,
Half bush survived because it was on the shade. The other half that got the frost followed by sun was burnt.
