Blackbird eating leycestra berries

I asked you all last year if any birds would eat these, and you assured me it just take a bit more time. Well the proof of the berry is in the eating!!! cheers every-one.

I had some berries on my fuschia this year and the blackbirds just loved those too! Good shot.

thanks folks, I have been noticing the sparrows in my back garden, eating bits on all the wild roses I grew for them. It is very pleaseing to watch this as that is why I planted them in the first place and I want them to not rely totally on what I put out for them.

He's enjoying those , I'm not sure if the birds know something we don't but they seem to be eating everything in sight , stocking up for a bad winter perhaps !
