Paddy always waits to have his paws cleaned when he comes in from the garden(if damp)........mainly because he knows he gets a treat if he sits still while we clean him!!!!

Mine acknowledges that I am in charge only after the third command. My friend who has working dogs says that is because I have trained her that way but its not of course...truth is, Jack Russell's are incredibly wilful. They know well enough, they just never tire of trying to get the upper hand! Clever little things they are! Yours is a cutie Paul.
