Final terrace start

It's a challenge but you're getting the upper hand! what are you intending growing? Are you intending putting anything in to beak up the clay?......He'll of a job!!!

I dont know what im going to do, my bottom tier is a bog now so i need to drain it., I tried sand, top soil to no avail ( it may be a patio!) plant wise im not too sure as I have always had good soil. perhaps some roses, cordyline, bedding mainly and some fuschia shrubs. I will plant them in fresh top soil though.

It would take years to improve it, unfortunately.With homemade compost and/or rotted manure!

then top soil it will be :) not ideal but it seems the way to go. i have a skip and try to shift a bucket per night :(
