Thanks Paul. I have not growing veg in years. I was hoping to grow just a small amount of garlic, onions, beetroot,scallions. Just to get some ideas as the council are making up allotments with raised beds 9m x 3m at a cost of 30euro I have applied for one just to keep me occupied for the summer months.

We had 36 hours of rain here, it stopped 1/2 hour ago,
