not a forecast just a view of our pressure and the hugh high that has been with us since Mid Jan and just will not budge - I could end up with a snowy Birthday when mild should try an get in like last weekend . the high is doing repeat of last year and even worse

yes Karen - this high looks like anchoring itself now - snow may be as late at late April - I dare not say May - but it has happened before. April will have lots more snow.

I remember snow on my birthday in May once. We were going to Bristol Zoo and as we went over the Severn bridge (only the old one was there in those days - it was in the 70s) the snow came down in a blizard. I was afraid we'd get stranded, but it didn't stay much. We went to the zoo and came home safely lol :o)
I often remember snow in April too.

They said on radio 4 today that lower than ave. temps will continue for the next 30 days!!!! I could have wept!
