Sadly now burnt. Didn't like the look of the pustules on the leaves. They were from a pack at the local supermarket.

That looks very worrying. It could be Tulip fire. I'd burn the lot in case it spreads to other tulip plants in your garden. I see you have done that. The advice is to burn the soil as well and do not plant in the same area for three years. Luckily you had them in a pot so that will not be a problem. Its good that you showed it because others might not be aware of the dangers of harbouring plants like these.
