ACER IN RUINS

The leaves seem to be curling and browning at the ends and there has been an awful lot of leaf drop. If anyone has any remedies they would be welcome.
We have had the plant since May this year.
Thanks

Mine is doing exactly the same, if it's of any comfort. I'm sure it will be OK. Keep it watered if you've still got dry weather.

I lost all the leaves on my acer earlier this year. After cursing a lot, I changed it's position in the garden and kept it watered. I watched with amazement as new leaf buds formed and now in September it has half a dozen fresh green leaves on it.
As Spritz said keep it watered and protect it from the wind. It'll be fine

Hi Stef, I think Simon's acer had the same problem. From what others have said it's wind and/or sun exposure. You can see what others said here http://www.growsonyou.com/question/show/132. Hope it helps :)
